The Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands (OCCL) of the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) and the U.H. Sea Grant College Program is hosting a series of free workshops with new information on Sea Level Rise (SLR) and planning strategies for SLR, coastal land use policy and coastal hazards.

The workshops are for landowners, planning, regulatory and development community, realtors and the general public. Topics:  Research and Information: (Sea-level Rise,
Erosion, Shoreline Certifications, Landscaping,  Dune Restoration); Coastal Land Use (Erosion Control, Beach Nourishment, Emergency Erosion Control); Planning (Hazard Mitigation, Setbacks, Jurisdiction, Highways); State Policies (Beach Management Plans, Coastal Access).
