State DOT Meeting regarding the Statewide Transportation Plan: The State Department of Transportation (DOT) is planning a meeting regarding the Hawaii Statewide Transportation Plan (HSTP). Learn about the Goals and Objectives for the HSTP. The State DOT is looking to get information and comments for future needs for travel by land, air, and sea.
Hawaii Statewide Transportation Plan (HSTP) Public Meeting (Aunty Sally Kaleohano's Luau Hale, from 08-18-2010, 05:30 PM to 08-18-2010, 08:30 PM): The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation wants your input. The Hawai‘i Statewide Transportation Plan (HSTP) is a broad-based policy plan document that will give common direction to planners of Airports, Harbors, and Highways. This includes planners of bicycle, pedestrian, and transit facilities. Come and learn more about transportation and our aging population, global climate change and its effect on our transportation facilities, and fuel and energy for transportation. Learn about the Goals and Objectives for the HSTP, and give your feedback. Meeting being held at Aunty Sally Kaleohano's Luau Hale, 799 Piilani Street, Hilo. Presentation starts at 6:30 PM.
