- The HCH gives grants to projects that best promote its mission -- a better understanding and appreciation of the humanities among the general public in Hawai'i. This is based on the belief that the humanities are crucial to our personal and public lives.

- The Office of Hawaiian Affairs Grants Program assists community-based organizations working to address the needs of the Hawaiian community. Grant awards of up to $100,000 will be made to support programs which address OHA Strategic Plan goals in the areas of education, health, human services, native rights, land, culture, housing, economic development and governance.
