Hawaii Council for the Humanities

The HCH gives grants to projects that best promote its mission -- a better understanding and appreciation of the humanities among the general public in Hawai'i. This is based on the belief that the humanities are crucial to our personal and public lives.

Office of Hawaiian Affairs

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs Grants Program assists community-based organizations working to address the needs of the Hawaiian community. Grant awards of up to $100,000 will be made to support programs which address OHA Strategic Plan goals in the areas of education, health, human services, native rights, land, culture, housing, economic development and governance.

Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts

The Mission of SFCA is to promote, perpetuate, preserve and encourage culture and the arts, history and the humanities as central to the quality of life of the people of Hawai`i. SFCA funding is provided by the State of Hawai`i and the National Endowment for the Arts. The SFCA is administratively attached to the Department of Accounting and General Services.
